HMB AREA DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS
Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Area Dollars for Scholars is locally governed and supported. We are a charitable, non-profit, tax-exempt scholarship foundation established in May 1992. All donations stay in the community to help fund scholarship awards to local students.
HMB Area Dollars for Scholars is an affiliated chapter of Scholarship America, a nationally recognized non-profit student aid service organization. Dollars for Scholars began in 1958 in Fall River, MA, to help local communities raise scholarship money for high school graduates.
Graduating seniors from Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock school district received numerous scholarships in 2008. Scholarships were given by HMB Area Dollars for Scholars, HMB Millennium Endowment, area businesses and organizations, and North Dakota colleges and universities.

STUDENTS CHOICE AWARD
HMB Area Dollars for Scholars sponsors the"Student's Choice Award". The students (grades 7-12) choose a teacher that has the following qualities:
- Fair in discipline and grading
- Available when you need help
- Gets involved in the community and school events
- Encourages you and gives good advice
- Makes you feel good about yourself
